When you listen to Obama, you really have to pay attention to his exact wording. Time and time again, he says he's bringing the "combat troops" home from Iraq. His obamablueprintforchange.pdf says specifically he's going to ensure the safety of Iraqis in and around Iraq. Of course, that's going to require troops - but their role will have them called "peacekeeping troops" and not "combat troops." It's like when the first Bush said "no new taxes" then raised existing ones. Also, he wants to get the US involved in the Darfur conflict. As for what the rest of the world thinks, who cares. We're electing the leader of the US, not the NWO.

Obama is making a lot of promises he knows he can't keep.......as is McCain. All politicians running for the presidency since the 1700's tell the voters whatever it will take to get their vote. Unfortunately, a lot of voters believe them. Only after it's too late do they realize they've been hoodwinked by the person they voted for. Neither candidate is a great choice for our country, so we need to vote for the one who we think will "best" serve our domestic and foreign interests. Whether you approach it from the angle of which one is best, or which one is the lesser of the evils, in my view the better choice is McCain. As to Realst1.....I find it interesting that you use "special" names for McCain and Palin. You don't even have the decency to use their proper names. Did you forget about Obama's long, long, long list of known associates .....the domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, ACORN, the communist Frank Marshall Davis, the PLO member Rashid Khalidi, his friend and neighbor Louis Farrakhan......and on and on and on. He wants to spread the wealth ( ie....take your money against your will and give it to people who didn't work for it ), he has publicly stated that he believes in reparations for minorities for past wrongs ( ie.....YOU will be paying for this too even though YOU weren't one of the people in the past who wronged them ), he publicly stated that he believes that the US Constitution that has been in effect for over 200 years is flawed and should be changed, and if elected will try to eliminate free speech by the media. And this is the kind of man you want in charge of our country??? The next time you choose to refer to McCain and Palin with wise-guy references, take a look at Obama's background and 135 day senate experience during which time he accomplished nothing, and decide if he is qualified and the kind of person you want steering your future. Oh and by the way, when Joe Biden's promise comes true ( "Obama will be tested" ).....I sure hope one of your loved ones isn't among the dead.As much as I don't care for McCain, he is clearly a better choice.
