Because we have an entire infrastructure dedicated to telling the cattle what they should think and avoiding anything that might actually help them - and they are very susceptible to it.

I refuse to waste my vote again on a Dem or Rep. The only way to CHANGE business as usual in Washington is to vote for a party that hasn't been in control for 150+ years.

Ron Paul and Peter Schiff truly are two Americans to be proud of. And it's disheartening to see media laugh in their face when they talk about these issues. I've been watching Peter on various networks from back in 2006 and a guy laughed in his face and said he'd bet him a dollar all the things he was talking about (the housing market, etc) would never come to pass. It makes me want to send that guy the video of Peter talking about EXACTLY what is going on now with no other message except "Idiot."I've been a lifelong Republican, but today, I see very little difference between them and the Democrats. This year I will be writing in my vote, as my state only recognizes the Republican and Democratic parties.

Libertarians are way ahead of their time. Libertarianism is the oldest political philosophy. I suppose Authoritarianism came next.I won't be wasting my vote on any Republicans or Democrats this election cycle.
