Default Why would you vote for obama?

I'm a buisness owner and pay enough taxes I support my employees families I work long hours and sacrifice everything to give my family the best things in life. I donate to charities and support my country. I work hard so my family can have a great life. My lifestyle also helps other people from sales people who work on commision, waiters, hotels ang gas stations. Lets face it, it goes on and on. It's the way I live my life that build's the economy. If I get taxed more I will spend less and so will millions like me. I also believe in God, democrats want to remove the words which this country was built on "In God We Trust". The next time there is a shooting in a school and you ask God "why?" Don't you think he wonders why we removed him from our schools. People, we do need change. We need to teach our children how to work hard at school, obey their parents and stop watching videos, and television shows that have no morals. We live in a great country lets support it don't vote for someone who want's to change things for the worst all he does it talk. If obama wins It will be the biggest mistake this country can ever make in these tough times.

Read up about his values over the last 10 years - and don't vote for someone who is trying to hide who they really are - vote McCain!

You are clearly out of touch with reality here. The people who support this great nation are the people like me - the teachers, the factory workers, the garbage man. It's great that you own a business. Congrats. But your business will fail if the rest of us can't afford to pay you.Frankly I am quite tired of business owners feeling that they somehow hold our country together. It is your employees who do that job. God does not belong in public schools, either. Or on our money. Or in our oaths. I say this as a teacher in a religious school, too. Obama will be our next president. Thank goodness. For the first time in my adult life, I will have a president I can look up to. For the first time in my teaching career, I can point to a president as a role model for my students.

are you f*cking kidding me?? you would have to be INCREDIBLY ignorant to even consider voting for mccain. McCain is just a clone of bush, and right now we need a CHANGE in this country, which obama could successfully handle. We are encountering an economic crisis, which you seem to be unaware of. Furthermore, "God" has no place in the school systems. Not everyone is the same as you, not everyone believes in God/religion. That is disrespectful to different cultures.

While I respect your point of view, I see things differently. I am not a wealthy person (financially), but I aspire to be one through hard work. I've worked my way through college and will apply to medical school soon. So I too will one day be in the higher tax bracket. We live in very troubled times, and we need to take a hard look at how we got to be in the situation we are in now. I love our country, and I want to be keep being the greatest nation on the planet and the worlds strongest superpower. But how can we lead the world when the rest of the world hates us? We can't do it through force. 19 people hijacked planes and drove them into the twin towers. We cannot go to war enough to prevent 19 people from committing acts of terrorism, its just impossible. To even imagine a world with check points, bomb sniffing dogs at every one of them, people listening in on our phone conversations and all those orwellian scenarios that go along with a world free from terrorism by military force, scares the crap out of me and is not a world I want to live in or bring kids into. We need to go about things diplomatically, or soon we won't have any allies, just business partners. As far as the economic side of this election goes, politicians are professional money waisters, it doesn't matter if they're democrat or republican, and our system of federal government is too big and powerful regardless of which party takes control. We need to focus on state governments to make sure they are looking after our communities.Have a good one.
